The Role
As the Event Manager you will spearhead our annual customer conference, AirTime. Held in three regions across the globe this event plays a pivotal role in our customer marketing strategy.
Your role will involve a blend of strategic event planning and hands on management to deliver an exceptional event for our EventsAir Customers. You’ll set the goals, budget and creative direction for the event and you will be supported by an Events Coordinator and a Solutions Engineer who will assist with configuration, launch and management of the event from start to finish.
What you will be doing
- Create our overarching strategy for AirTime 2023 including setting clear goals and objectives, determining innovative ways to engage our customers and how we will deliver an incredible brand experience.
- Alongside our Exec Team undertake research (previous event survey data, survey customers who didn’t attend, market analysis, competitor research etc.) to create an engaging program. Facilitate a program committee including staff members from various teams.
- Develop and manage the overall budget for the conference.
- Source and contract all aspects of the conference including venue and AV for all three regions.
- Work closely with team to build and launch event website and registration.
- Launch our registration via email, social media, blog and in-product.
- Create a marketing and promotion plan to maximize registration.
- Create a sponsorship proposal and work with regional sponsors ensuring our event delivers value.
What you will need for this role
- EventsAir Guru: 2+ years' experience using the EventsAir platform.
- Strategic Planning Experience: 5+ years in event management, preferably with global exposure.
- Budget Management: Expertise in financial oversight of events.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong background in venue and supplier negotiations across various regions.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Marketing Acumen: Experience in multi-channel event marketing and promotions.
- Sponsorship Expertise: Ability to develop and manage successful sponsor relationships.
