As an Events Coordinatorat FCA, you will have the exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on, end-to-end role, managing a variety of events including conferences, seminars, virtual events, professional development workshops, and exhibitions associated with conferences.
You will also play a crucial role in overseeing sponsors and exhibitors, ensuring their needs are met, and enhancing their experience with FCA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and execute conferences, seminars, virtual events, and professional development workshops from start to finish.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, budgeting, invitations, registrations, catering, and audio visual requirements.
- Coordinate with speakers, presenters, and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Oversee sponsors and exhibitors, ensuring their satisfaction and maximizing their exposure during events.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovative event management techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience as an Events Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in conference environment or within an association.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box to deliver exceptional events.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
