We are seeking a temporary part-time (3 days per week) Events Manager to support the Community Engagement Team in the delivery of School events during Term 2. This will be a short term contract from 9 April to 7 June 2024.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis position has primary responsibility for managing the planning, coordination and subsequent success of Ascham functions and events. In particular, this role helps build and strengthen community relations by working with a range of volunteers representing the Ascham Parents’ Association (APA).
Essential Criteria- Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end functions and events including planning, on-site operations, pre and post logistics.
- An ability to balance conceptual thinking with an eye for detail.
- Demonstrated excellence in time management, organisation and administration skills.
- Proven ability to handle a workload with accuracy, under pressure, to deadline.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and commitment to positive relationships and professional communications with all stakeholders.
- Be proficient (intermediate/advanced) in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- A valid Working with Children clearance.
