Join us as an Executive Assistant within the Division of Community Recreation and Cultural Services!
Are you a skilled office manager with a talent for delivering outstanding executive support? Join Orange City Council as an Executive Assistant in the Community Recreation and Cultural Services Division. As a key team member, you'll provide vital support to the Director, managing office operations, and coordinating Divisional projects and initiatives.
Key Accountabilities/Duties:
- Lead and manage the Executive Support function for the Director’s Office to provide a high level of office management, administrative and secretariat support.
- Working through correspondence with the Director to ensure actions within priorities and timelines.
- Assist in management of the Directors schedule including planning for and anticipating the workflow requirements of the Director.
- Draft policy, papers (including Council papers) and reports with the support of the Director.
- Act in role of Committee Clerk when required.
- Actively participate as a member of the management team to assist the Director with the team’s operations.

What do you need?
- Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications or experience.
- Extensive experience in a similar role providing executive or high level administration and secretarial support.
- Proven effective negotiation, conflict resolution, problem solving and influencing skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, including proven ability to work to tight deadlines and set priorities, whilst managing multiple projects at the one time.
