About the role
This position is a full time role in the Development Services team and based at the Moruya Administration Office.
This position provides executive support to the Division Manager. Your main duties will include:
- Management of the Division Manager’s diary and time.
- Delivering high level organisational and administrative skills to the Division.
- Delivering effective oral and written communication consistent with Council values and established timelines. This includes, but is not limited to; telephone enquiries and the preparation of Council reports, correspondence, media releases and data records that support Directorate outcomes.
- Supporting and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships/ networks and coordinate administrative activities, including the preparation and collation of key documents that include, but are not limited to; Council reports, integrated planning and reporting requirements, financial documents, correspondence, agendas, minutes and other written material.
- Prepare meeting agendas and minutes for the Development Services Unit (DSU) and preparation of Builders/Developers Newsletter items and organising Builders/ Developers Forums.
- Organising special events and/or meetings as required by the Division.
Total remuneration for the role is in the range of $81,507.08 to $88,969.91 gross per annum comprising:
- $73,429.80 to $80,153.07 base salary
- $8,077.28 to $8,816.84 superannuation (11%)

You will be an experienced administrative professional who can contribute strong organisational support and excellent time management skills to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Division Manager’s office. You will be a high achiever with a can-do attitude and demonstrate the following:
- Qualifications in business administration (or similar) and/or extensive experience working with senior executives.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills, showing capacity to organise an effective and efficient office for a senior executive including the ability to work unsupervised.
- Demonstrated ability to take accurate meeting records and prepare timely minutes.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, including the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to research and write correspondence, reports, meeting records and written material as requested.
