As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective high-level management support services and strategic advice to an Executive Member. In addition, your key duties are as follow:Managing emails, appointments and preparing briefing materials.
Providing guidance, support and quality assurance to staff at lower classification levels
Assisting with maintaining risk management programs.Maintaining a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks.Scheduling meetings, preparing reports and documents relating to committees and projects.Organising travel arrangements and supporting official functions
Identifying and contributing to the resolution of issues and problems as they arise. About you To be successful in this role, you must have:Proven Executive Assistant or Executive Support experience
Previous government experience is a must!Previous executive support background at an APS4 / APS5 / EL1 capacity
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong prioritisation and time management skills
High attention to detail
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Benefits12-month temporary assignment
