About The Role:
Reporting to one or more of the Financial Planners in your team, your duties will be varied and will include, but are not limited to:
- being the primary point of contact for the specific Planner(s)’ clients, including via telephone, face-to-face and e-mail;
- liaising and coordinating with clients/ planners/ FFS Canberra team members/ FFS Sydney;
- general and ad-hoc administrative duties; and
- being a proactive, motivated, engaged member of our team.
About The Right Person:
Skills and Experience:
A mature, experienced, pro-active, friendly and outcome-focused individual, who possesses previous experience in a busy, customer-facing, EA role. Someone who is well presented and articulate, with a professional “can-do” attitude and appearance. Previous experience in a Financial Planning firm or professional services desirable but not essential.
Key Criteria:
- Effective and articulate written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
- Able to manage all client and team interactions in a professional manner;
- Able to draft and proof business correspondence;
- Strong, current administrative and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to apply this experience in a practical sense;
- Proficient computer skills, particularly Outlook, the Microsoft Office package and an ability to learn to effectively maintain our in-house databases;
- The ability to be a team player, who can work well both autonomously and within a team environment and who can work effectively in an interactive, customer-focused environment;
- Ability to be proactive in identifying/ developing continuous improvement across all processes within the business;
- An ability to research and run with administrative issues as they arise, relating to Client relationship management, Client Support, Office Administration, Compliance and as directed by your Manager(s) and the Practice Manager;
- Good analytical, numerical and problem solving ability;
- Strong time-management skills, including the ability to work to competing deadlines and prioritise tasks, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and interruptions at a time;
- A strong customer (internal and external) orientation, aware of and responsive to customer needs;
- Work-space pride and attention to detail;
- A passion for service and an unwillingness to accept less than best;
- Will have an awareness of all company policies and Corporate Mission, service standards and key objectives;
- Will be punctual, reliable, efficient and courteous at all times.
This position is accountable for assisting in the maintenance of comprehensive and accurate administration of Fiducian Financial Services (FFS), Canberra and implementation and continuous improvement of processes and systems of support workflow. The following outcomes are required:
- excellence in accuracy of administrative support and processes to support the Planners and Associates within the team;
- assisting Planners with ongoing management of the client data bases;
- professional liaison with Clients, Planners and all management and team members within FFS and the Canberra Office.
