Our client is a global leader in Private Equity with a boutique Melbourne office. Your primary responsibility will be to support this busy team and especially 4 more senior members, keeping them all on track with diary management, travel and expenses.
This role is suited to someone who brings initiative, confidence, and the ability to anticipate what needs to be done to support a busy high performing team and ensure the weeks run smoothly.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Diary Management and high-level administrative support to 4 busy professionals
- Managing all travel logistics both domestic and international (flights, accommodation, visas, currency exchange)
- Build a strong and effective internal admin network
- Assisting the two EAs with busy periods
- Financial administration support invoicing and expenses
- Supporting wider team with basic admin
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with strong emotional intelligence. You will enjoy the boutique environments and thrive on the exposure and variety they offer. You will have the confidence to contribute to team discussions and manage key stakeholder relationships.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Proven EA or PA experience, ideally from within financial or professional services
- A proactive nature with the track record of taking initiative and implementing efficiencies for the business and team
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a collaborative team environment
- Previously succeeded in a high-pressure environment with peaks and troughs of workload
- Maturity to determine hours to best suit yourself and the business
