They provide bespoke service to high-end clients who love the premium quality of their food. This is a mix between private clients and weddings events.
The Kitchen:
The prep kitchen is well-equipped and lots of high-end equipment for prep and service. When it comes to the events, most of the dishes are freshly made and platted like in a hatted restaurant setting.
This venue is located in Sydney's Inner West - close to plenty of public transport.
The Role:
This venue needs a Head Chef who is on market with where food is today and is strong with creativity/menu design and a strong background in Italian cooking. While a strong leader and commercial operator they enjoy cooking and creating menus.
Being able to lead and mentor a team of chefs which can range from 3 - 15 chefs depending on the size of the events.
As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of running the kitchen and developing the team:
- Full accountability for running of the kitchen
- The ability to build and train the team of chefs
- The ability to create cost and produce menus that fit within the current price points
- The ability to work with the Executive Team developing the business
- Comfortable with the administration and controlling costs
A salary on offer of up to $140K+S for the right candidate, with potential for a phone, company car and laptop as part of the package.
