This is a fixed term, full time opportunity available for six months, with the possibility of extension, for up to a further six months, subject to business requirements.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Executive Manager is responsible for supporting the Deputy Commissioner Offender Services by effectively managing the Directorate's administrative and workflow functions in accordance with Departmental procedures. This includes;
- Ensuring appropriate delegated authority is exercised in managing human and financial resources.
- Preparing and completing ministerial briefings, corporate correspondence and a range of directorate information requests giving regard to timeliness and accuracy of information.
- Coordination of business processes in order to meet priorities as delegated by the Deputy Commissioner.
The Executive Manager plays a key role promoting teamwork and collaboration in a matrix environment and acts as a conduit between key Divisional and Directorate stakeholders. This position promotes the Departmental values of integrity, respect, accountability, learning and excellence and ensures confidential and sensitive information is handled with a high level of professionalism and probity.
