Our client is a substantial private family office who requires an Executive Personal Assistant to provide support to the investment business and the family members. The Executive Personal Assistant will be relied upon to always be thinking one step ahead and being extremely well organised.
We are looking for someone who will build a long-term relationship with the business, family and external stakeholders. This role will be based in the Sydney CBD and is an opportunity to support a well-respected family and join a small team where loyalty, commitment and discretion is rewarded.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring smooth management of the CEO’s day to day calls, email and calendar.
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge and understanding of the investment business;
- Handling general correspondence and email communications
- Organising and scheduling meetings, resources and travel (personal & corporate);
- Organising events for the business and team;
- Family support and management of business and personal activities such as travel arrangements, household management and personal appointments
- Liaise with and assist other stakeholders and family members, to stay informed of current issues, events and activities across the family and businesses.
- Coach and assist family members with email and technology
- Ad hoc projects as directed by the CEO.
Experience
For this position we will consider experience as either an Executive Assistant in corporate, looking to transition to a private role; or already be an Executive Personal Assistant and supported HNWI or families, but looking for your next long term role. You will also have the flexibility and understanding of working in a small family office environment and have been a trusted member of the team.
- You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable in working autonomously
- You will be willing to take on responsibility, manage ambiguity successfully and have strong time management skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Have highly developed interpersonal skills and be happy working across generations
- Approach everything with a 'no task too big or small' approach and be adept at problem solving
