About us: QPSC delivers a 12-month senior transitions program to vulnerable students that are still wanting to complete their senior studies, however, have found it difficult to succeed at this in mainstream schooling. Many of our students have experienced anxiety, depression, homelessness or trauma. By developing a safe and supportive environment, these students are able to achieve their goals and positively move onto pathways in further learning (TAFE or university) or employment.
Your Role: As Executive Services and Marketing officer, you will be based at our Coorporoo campus and report to the Executive Team.
Responsibilities include:
Provide high level confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Executive Team, including word processing, data base and spread sheet applications and produce advanced desktop published documents.
Assist in the development and implementation of promotional material, including marketing and communication strategies and initiatives; and in association with key stakeholders assist to develop innovative marketing systems, processes and procedures.
Event coordination including Graduation ceremonies and staff professional development days.
Coordinate the production of all school publications and promotional material along with the school newsletter and maintain content for the school's website and SharePoint site to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
Develop and maintain a proactive and consistent online and social media presence to promote the school and to communicate responsively with the wider community.
About You: Our ideal candidate will have the following knowledge and/or skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with marketing tools/platforms.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
