We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and highly motivated Finance Officer to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will see you take responsibility for maintaining accurate financial and administrative records for various entities. The position is based in North Hobart and is offered on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks including raising of sales invoices, management of debtors, processing of supplier invoices including using MYOB inventory and management of payment runs.
- Processing of payroll, ensuring payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Credit cards and bank reconciliations and cashflow management.
- Assist with the month end process including journal entities and general ledger reconciliations.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 4 + years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MYOB accounting software and Microsoft office applications including strong Excel skills.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet required deadlines and work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Diploma qualifications in a relevant business discipline would be highly regarded.
