About the role
There is now an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Mortgage Broker to join our team at The Loan Room.
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years’ experience practicing as a Mortgage Broker (or in the banking industry).

Job Responsibilities:
- Managing client home loan processing from lead to lodgment
- Researching and liaising with a range of lenders
- Analyse and verify client financial information
- Regular client communication on updates and lender requests
- Exceptional lead management with daily prospecting
- Managing deal flow of new and existing loans
- Meeting KPIs from prospecting to lodgement to file quality
- Loan packaging and maintaining compliance
- Follow checklists and requirements in detail at every stage
What we’re searching for:
- 3+ years practicing in banking sector or mortgage industry
- A high level of professionalism at all times
- Excellent work ethic and 'can do' attitude
- Great phone skills and experience with prospecting
- Willing to go above and beyond for the client
- Articulate, enthusiastic and friendly
- Highly organised & proficient at multi-tasking
- Strong time management skills, efficient and proactive
- Ability to self-motivate and have a positive attitude
- Good team work and ability to work in a time pressured environment
- Must demonstrate alignment with our values
- Thorough knowledge of lender policy and loan structuring
