Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to employees to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, including incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE best practices across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HSE trends, legislation, and best practices.
Qualifications and skills:
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field (minimum cert iv).
- Proven experience in HSE roles, preferably in a diverse range of industries.
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations and compliance requirements. (federal, state, and ISO)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
