Professional Wind Services are looking for an experienced and passionate Health & Safety Manager to commence in May for a construction project in South East Queensland. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide Health and Safety advice, support and direction to our project delivery team on all HSE related matters.
Key responsibilities
- You will take overall responsibility for all Health & Safety aspects of the project and ensure all works are completed in accordance with required contract conditions, standards/regulations and company procedures.
- Positively influence the Health and Safety culture and performance of the project.
- SWMS Development and review
- Permit Management
- HSE Investigations and Reporting
- HSR Support and Mentoring
- Safety interactions, Compliance checks
Required Skills, Competencies and Qualities:
- You will have a relevant Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety combined with experience on large construction projects.
- Experience in dealing with peers and project personnel in Health & Safety.
- Management experience
- Construction Induction (White Card)
- Strong work ethic
- Current Advanced First Aid training - advantageous
- Wind Industry experience - advantageous
