External Audit - Manager

A national professional services firm who specialise in Tax, Advisory and Forensic accounting are looking for an experienced External Auditor to join their team on a permanent basis. They have a long-standing, established business and share their core values with their team and clients.

Your new role

In this role you will be part of a team that provides independent audit, assurance and risk advisory services across a wide range of sectors and industries.
Due to growth, they are looking for an External Auditor with Supervisor level experience. You will have demonstrated experience in providing External Audit services to a wide range of clients, along with wider Assurance and Risk Advisory experience.
You will be responsible for the provision of financial statements and statutory audits, working as part of a structured team. Additionally, you will also oversee and monitor the workflow of staff members and develop them as External Audit specialists. In keeping in line with the relevant Australian Auditing and Accounting standards, you will be:

• Oversee and perform relevant audits
• Conduct audits in accordance with the International Standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform financial statement audits, reviews, and specific procedure engagements for diverse entities, including government, private companies, NFP organisations, and statutory entities.
• Building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of standards.
• Staff management and development

What you'll need to succeed

• A Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce or Finance or a Business-related degree.
• Completed or progressing with your CA or CPA.
• Experience working within a proactive and team-focused professionals
• Recent External Audit experience.
• Proven experience delivering high-quality audit engagements.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience and knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
