Our client is a Tier 1 FMCG business that has experienced exceptional growth continuing to gain market share from competitors. They have a number of state-of-the-art distribution facilities that manages the movement of their complex and high SKU range of products through diverse sales channels. This business has rapidly carved out a significant market share, becoming one of the leading companies in Australia. As a result of this continued growth they have a need to recruit a Facilities Coordinator that will have accountability across overseeing the maintenance and building services of their flagship site.
The Role
Reporting to the Fulfilment Manager, this role will be responsible for;
- Overseeing facilities maintenance sitewide including the; implementation of a facilities management strategy, overseeing of the budget and wider planning for annual spend, the development of preventative maintenance schedules, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Accountability across maintenance services including the supervision of relevant contractors and collaborating with the wider business to ensure key achievements are met in line with overall business strategies.
- A focus towards contributing to a safety first culture, driving policies and compliance sitewide whilst ensuring that maintenance activities are performed in line with schedules.
- Problem solving in a pressured environment under tight time frames.
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role you will;
- Have at least 3-5 years experience in the Supply Chain / Logistics / Manufacturing space preferably from an FMCG based, automated industrial or similar industry.
- A certification and/or trade qualification in Electrician, Plumbing, Carpentry, Fitter and Turner or related fields.
- Proven qualification in maintenance processes and technical issues and experience in considering economical aspects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with proven experience in maintaining positive outcomes.
- Be highly ambitious, passionate and willing to develop the facilities maintenance function.
- Be resilient with strong problem solving skills and the ability to thrive in a high pressure and fast pace role
