Responsibilities:
- Ensures individual and team safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures, and instructions
- Effectively influences Quality Assurance processes through shift operations ensuring order and stock quality and customer satisfaction
- Organising any requirements needed for the warehouse to be compliant with all legislation and operating procedures
Facilities:
Ensuring the facilities are maintained to a level that allows all business units to work together effectively, by ensuring working environments are safe, compliant and current with changing policies and legislation, and are free flowing in nature.
Facilities must be maintained in accordance with Bapcor’s policies and standards, relevant legislation (both statutory and local) and lease requirements (this including insurance obligations).
Maintenance:
The Maintenance Co-Ordinator will schedule and ensure as needed maintenance is managed across the site to ensure no operational blockages due to equipment and infrastructure being out of commission.
Requirements:
- In-depth understanding of Maintenance and Facility legislation
- Previous experience working in a DC/ warehouse
- Previous experience in Compliance Co-ordination
- Experience with records & facility management
- Intermediate level of competence using Office Programs (MS -Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Clear and effective communication skills are a crucial to this role
- Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple demands from a variety of sources (this includes the ability to delegate)
