Specifically, You Will
- Coordinate the engagement and supervision of facilities services-related contractors as required.
- Participate in the 24/7 facilities on-call roster, ensuring timely and effective responses to issues and enquiries to protect and enhance people, assets, reputation, and the environment.
- Discharge site safety and fire safety roles on behalf of the organisation.
- Provide input into tendering, tender assessment, and selection of vendors for facilities-related services and materials across allocated jobs.
Your expertise
- Completion of Year 12 with a pass in English and Maths. (desirable).
- Diploma level qualification in Facilities Management (preferred).
- Trade level qualifications in construction and/or maintenance disciplines or equivalent professional experience (highly regarded).
- Experience in a role providing facilities and maintenance services for a complex technical organisation operating 24X7. (highly regarded).
- Demonstrated experience in the use of manual/electric tools to undertake handyman type activities.
- Basic to intermediate ability in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other PC software.
