We have a fantastic newly created opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team and manage Xylem's 12 facilities across Australia and New Zealand.
The Facilities Manager will report to the Finance Director and be based in Sydney. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Regional Real Estate team, Suppliers, Contractors and Landlords and to ensure smooth day to day operations.
The Facilities Manager will:
- Access and manage maintenance and repair works including risk assessment and safety
- Manage escalations and provide advice to local onsite co-ordinators
- Assess requirements at locations such as seating, zoom facilities, security and cleaning
- Manage quality, cost effectiveness, changes and invoices
- Build relationships with landlords, councils and stakeholders across all sites
- Ensure lease obligations are met
- Project management of refurbishments and moves to new sites and co-ordinate make good works on termination of leases
- Support EHS in meeting Net Zero targets for Xylem ANZ business in relation to facilities
You will bring your knowledge and expertise in managing multiple sites, have in-depth commercial lease and project management experience across Australia and New Zealand. Your project management experience will include new facility builds, relocations and site closures.
To be successful you will have demonstrated relationship building skills and be able to effectively communicate across all levels with strong attention to detail. You will have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
