A government organisation in Perth CBD, is seeking an experienced Facilities Officer to join a team. You will be required to work full-time hours, and will be paid at a competitive hourly rate. Initially, this role will be for a 4-month engagement, plus possible extensions.
Your new role
As the Facilities Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the physical and security environment for the department workforce
- Inducting new staff on the building facilities and working environment matters
- Coordinating tenancy alteration projects and workstation relocations
- Liaising with building agents on building operation maintenance
- General administration and invoicing
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Facilities or Property Administrator / Officer
- Possession of a "C" class driver's licence
- A positive work ethic and excellent punctuality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to use your initiative to take on additional jobs that will support the wider team
