Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance and project services to their Lytton Refinery.
We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Planner to join the Wood team at the Ampol Refinery based in Lytton, Brisbane - on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for providing planning, scheduling and estimating support for Major Maintenance, Mechanical piping & Facilities at the Refinery, Terminal, Wharves and Pipelines.
At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those holding the required permit/VISA for this region.
- Review CMMS for approved Notifications, create, plan and schedule work orders for P3-P5's,
- Maintain integrity of the CMMS,
- Maintain, contribute and progress workflow in maintenance managements systems and databases,
- Conduct site inspections to determine the scope of work,
- Populate the work order with the tasks, discipline hours, materials, specialist vendors, Work instructions and other services required to execute the work,
- Create, maintain and closeout workpack documentation for execution,
- Develop, link and maintain work instructions documentation,
- Reserve all stock materials, identify part numbers and all information required for the purchase of non-stock items,
- Create stock proposals for repetitive non cat-orders,
- Maintain overview of the user status constraints. Verifying the SAP order accurately reflects the status of the planning & execution phase, ensuring the work is scheduled at a time when the correct materials, resources and equipment is available,
- Progress work orders to 'PLAN' (Ready to execute),
- Liaise with the Ampol Coordinator's & Engineering department to determine the optimum time to execute work,
- Liaise with Integrated & Area Planner's on matters relating to 90 Day, Ad-hoc & Alliance weekly plans,
- Actively participate in the Weekly Planning, Draft, Review & Backlog review meeting(s),
- Take feedback on the work at the completion of the job and improve information for future work,
- Create and continuously improve task lists by capturing actual work and changes feedback by Supervisor/Technicians,
- Demonstrate a pro-active role in identifying safety improvements,
- Provide pro-active, constructive and innovate input which will enhance present practices,
- Actively pursue personal development utilising the My Success Plan process.
- A relevant tertiary qualification or trade background with demonstrated experience in a similar planning/scheduling role
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a processing plant, preferably in the oil & gas industry
- Knowledge of maintenance and planning systems
- Proficient knowledge & use of SAP, Primavera P6
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
