Farm Business Manager

Lynford Farms is a large mixed farm agribusiness in the Williams district of Western Australia. Applicants are sought to fill the position of Farm Business Manager. Lynford Farms enterprises are adopting regenerative practises to produce premium branded lamb, RWS accredited superfine wool, and broad acre crops.

The role is to provide business support to its respective enterprise managers and to manage all non-operational activities of the company.

Applicants must have:

• A tertiary qualification relevant to Agribusiness or Accounting,
• Practical exposure in farming or livestock,
• An understanding of farm accounting, 
• Good analytical and problem solving abilities, 
• Advanced computer literacy with experience using business software,
• Effective written and oral communication skills,
• Sound leadership and people management skills,
• Enthusiasm to apply these skills.

Primary duties will include:

• Business analysis including Bench marking and KPI monitoring, 
• Management reporting,
• Financial management including statutory returns,
• Overseeing OHS systems and compliance,
• Budgeting support for enterprise managers,
• Implementation of carbon accounting,
• Managing tenant leases, 
• Project evaluation and recommendation.

This full time position ideally suits a person with experience in farm or business management and who is seeking to establish themselves in senior agribusiness management. The position allows for flexible working arrangements and can be based on farm, drive-in/drive-out or remote. It requires frequent on site attendance.
