A unique opportunity has arisen within the company, and we are currently seeking applications for the following position:
Service Coordinator position based in Dandenong VIC.
The Service Department is responsible for the delivery of technical and product support assistance and advice to both internal and external customers. The Service Coordinator role is responsible for managing the timely repair, servicing and diagnostics of our customer base in a field and workshop environment, including the Porter Hire fleet and after sales support of new machines. The successful candidate will have excellent time management skills, post trade experience in the service administration on comparable equipment and commercial awareness not only from a service perspective but a branch perspective as well.
The productive alliance of this position with the sales, parts and hire departments as well as outside contractors and the customer is essential to the success of our business service commitments.
You will be required to possess the following:
- Previous applicable Service coordinator or Supervisor experience preferrable.
- Tertiary and/or Trade qualifications that apply to this role and equipment.
- Excellent understanding of commercial outcomes within a business environment.
- Knowledge of occupational health & safety and site requirements including inductions.
- Sound communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to enable the effective provision of advice, information and assistance to Management, customers, staff and contractors.
- Well-developed computer skills.
- Excellent time management ability
- Fault diagnostic skills and diagnostic software experience.
- Current and valid car driver's license.
