Currently we have a role available within the VIC team as a Field Service Technician. We have customers based all around Melbourne, and the position would equally suit someone based East, West or North of Melbourne.

The Role:
As part of our Field Service team, the Field Service Technician role involves the following core duties and functions:
- Carrying out repairs and service work on a variety of Materials Handling Equipment within the Waverley Forklifts fleet and customer owned equipment.
- Representing Waverley Forklifts in a professional and positive manner, delivering excellent service.
- Working independently onsite and in coordination with our Service Team
The Right Person for the Role:
The successful candidate must be an individual who is experienced and skilled in the role, embraces challenges and responsibility with enthusiasm and energy. You enjoy a challenge, pride yourself on your professional approach, personal presentation and possess a positive attitude.
Specifically you display the following:
- Recent and relevant trade experience as a mechanic or field mechanic in forklift machinery or construction equipment.
- Ability to diagnose faults accurately and complete repairs efficiently.
- Outstanding customer service skills
- An ability to complete required paperwork with accuracy.
- Thoroughness in performing assigned tasks.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- An ability to show initiative and problem solve efficiently
- Willingness to be an integral part of the team and work autonomously when required.
