The site has the following services: Catering services, Housekeeping and janitorial, minesite cleaning, Retail and wet mess services, bussing services, accommodation management and charter flight services
This role will involve:
- Mentoring, coaching & developing the existing onsite team
- Day to day responsibility to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations
- Strong customer service focus for residents satisfaction
- Responsible for understanding/ using as required the Site Accommodation Management Systems (INX)
- Actively overseeing the success of the contract KPI's through weekly involvement in client meetings
- Build and maintain relationships by way of quality delivery on our scope of services to our clients and residents
- Responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensure catering scope requirements and quality are maintained and met
- Inventory control including stock ordering, stock takes & wastage
- Audit reporting for quality compliance and service standards
- Responsible for administrative tasks such as preparing reports for head office, financial reporting for retail shop & timesheets
- Maintain a safe work environment and actively provide ongoing feedback about opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring and documenting staff awareness and adherence to HACCP, Safety and Environmental practices and procedures
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in the Village Service sector, managing a production village of +150 residents
- Ability to lead a large team of 10+
- Chef experience is highly preferable
- Have a comprehensive understanding of hospitality services remote site services
- Strong problems solving skills
- Experience in performance management & appraisals
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate & develop your team
- Effective communication skills at all levels, client facing and internal
- Intermediate computer and tech skills
- Experience in ordering, stock-take and reporting
- Food safety and Hygiene training
- Experience using FIFO accommodation management systems (INX, preferred)
