Ningana Aged Care Facility is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Finance / Admin Assistant to join our team. This is a full time position but we are open to a flexible work schedule to suit the right candidate.
About Ningana
Ningana is a 48 bed residential aged care facility in Dalby QLD, also housing 14 Community Housing units. We are a not-for-profit organisation administered by a voluntary Board of Directors.
About the Role
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the overall financial functions of the organisation, including financial / government reporting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, management of resident / tenant fees / liaising with resident families, budgeting, and other administration tasks as and when needed, working together closely with the Finance Officer.
To be considered for this position:
- Prior experience in a Financial/administration role is desirable.
- Excellent Accounting Software skills (Reckon / Quickbooks)
- Understanding or willingness to learn aged care standards & regulatory framework for residential aged care.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Must be computer savvy and have strong email management skills
- Payroll experience including knowledge of awards, PAYG and Superannuation
- Ability to work independently
