Finance Administrator

The Role:

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working collaboratively with the Directors and the wider Finance team, you will provide high-quality general financial administration support to our legal team including:

• daily recording and processing of trust account payments, receipts and reconciliations; 
• processing bank account transactions and preparing reconciliations;
• accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks;
• preparing month-end journals;
• management reporting, including individual fee generation and WIP;
• Law Society SA requirements, including Combined Trust Accounts; and 
• general finance administrative tasks as required.

As a valued member of the team, you will have:

• experience with MYOB and/or Xero systems, and ideally with legal practice management systems;
• proven experience with Statutory Trust Accounts, bank reconciliations; accounts payable, accounts receivable, debtor management and reporting;
• sound administrative skills and proficiency in Excel; 
• the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines; 
• outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; and 
• enthusiasm and drive to enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced role.

Ideally you will have, or working towards, tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.
