The role
Support the financial and administrative aspects of the Completion & Transition (C&T) Program, which aims to ensure a smooth transition of the bank sale. This position will be assisting the C&T Program Finance team with their expense management process and by providing essential support to the Program Management Office team.
What you’ll do
- Process invoices and payments for the C&T Program vendors and suppliers in a timely and accurate manner while ensuring appropriate approval is present and costed to correct Program cost centres
- Maintain records of invoices, payments, and supporting documents in compliance with internal policies and resolve any discrepancies or irregularities
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient accounts payable operations
- Manage external contractors information are up to date and maintain contractor timesheet approval process are in time and correctly costed
- Preparation of the month end journal process for the C&T Program Finance Team
- Assist with C&T Program Finance Team with month-end closing activities, such as accruals, journal entries and reporting
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Assist with Program Management office team with diary management, arranging travel accommodation
- General administrative tasks and support
- Monthly reconciliation of VISA reports and submission of reports for approval before VISA due date
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification (degree or diploma) or equivalent career experience (mandatory)
- Working towards a degree qualification in accounting or commerce (desired)
- Strong Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) skills
- Proven organisational skills – ability to effectively prioritise and manage workloads
- Previous project assistance experience is highly desirable
- Prior experience within a medium to large financial services organisation (desired)
