About the opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable professional to join their team in this newly created role!
We are seeking someone that is dynamic and adaptable to step into this position, to perform accurate and timely accounts payable and receivable support, including assistance with processing and maintaining appropriate records and accounts. The position is high-volume; therefore, demonstrated pace and capacity to perform AP/AR within deadlines is essential. This role will see you work closely with the Accounts Team Leader and engage with wider finance and operations teams.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, with a solid foundation in accounts payable and receivable including high-volume invoice processing.
- Qualifications in accounting or administration.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities, adept at meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
- Experience in computerised accounting systems.
- Be a self-starter, capable of organising workload efficiently and staying self-motivated.
- Keen attention to detail and a proven track record of accurate data entry.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
- Australian driver’s license
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
