Job Description
The Finance Business Partner works across BGPA to analyse the financial performance of commercial activities, assess feasibility of new commercial initiatives and to provide insights and guidance to senior management to improve strategic and financial outcomes for BGPA.
The Finance Business Partner also takes a lead role in the preparation of the BGPA Annual Budget and other budget preparation activities.
Selection Criteria
- Considerable financial experience including budget preparation, forecasting and reporting with knowledge of government financial reporting and compliance requirements as well as competencies across the range of information systems and technology used in finance.
- Knowledge of, and experience with, relevant operational activities to support the provision of meaningful analysis and insight into financial management processes.
- Well-developed interpersonal and relationship management skills to contribute as a team member and work collaboratively with senior management for optimal management of BGPA finances.
- Well-developed analytical and conceptual thinking to provide strategic financial analysis and advice to senior management.
- Well-developed writing skills to convey complex financial analysis in an appropriate format for a variety of audiences.
- Organisational and/or project management skills to work autonomously and deliver as required.
Note: The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current (issue date not older than 6 months) and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
