Our client, Woodside Energy is currently seeking an experienced Finance professional to join their team, in the role of Finance Business Partner role working within their Drilling & Completions team.
The Role:
Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to SOX controls to maintain regulatory compliance.
Cost Management: Efficiently manage costs associated with Drilling and Completion (D&C) campaigns.
Financial Reporting: Accrue monthly well costs accurately, review results against plans, and provide half and year-end lease and commitment reporting.
Contract Oversight: Review contracts for D&C campaigns including those for rigs and vessels, and conduct embedded derivative reviews.
Forecasting and Analysis: Prepare quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and track costs against AFE and well cost estimates, while maintaining reporting and analysis for decision-makers and fostering continuous improvement in financial services delivery.
Skills & Experience:
- Completed a recognised Accounting qualification.
- Member or Associate of a recognised accounting body.
- At least five years working experience in an accounting environment.
- Experience in oil and gas industry and/or D&C environment is an advantage.
