ADD VALUE - THE ROLE
Playing a key role within Council’s Finance Service Package through the provision of essential financial services to the Organisation, the Finance Business Partner - Asset Accountant manages all aspects of Council’s Infrastructure Accounting requirements including ‘Business Partnering’ with the various Infrastructure teams to provide information, guidance and relationship building services.
Key responsibilities include;
- Accounting requirements associated with Council’s assets.
- Co-ordinate input to Annual Budget and Quarterly Budget Review process for capital and infrastructure requirements.
- Build strong partnering relationships with key stakeholders in business units.
- Partner with Asset stakeholders to ensure that asset valuations and associated assumptions and calculations such as useful life and asset conditions comply with accounting standards This includes:

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week.
Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 13 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $94,395 - $106,181 per annum plus superannuation.
