Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assist the CFO in implementing new and amended financial procedures and systems.
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, including inventory valuation both at physical vs books
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency within the finance department especially around Inventory, Gross Margin and other ad hoc activities as advised.
- Assist the month end process for the Finance team, with accurate and timely completion of group Inventory recognition and Gross Margin analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders across divisions to provide insights on actual financial
- Assist the CFO in preparation of relevant financial presentations for board meetings and executive leadership.
- Assist the inventory controller and responsible for the imports of products and inventory list maintenance.
- Assist the inventory controller in inventory receipting into ERP and manage the month end process of inventory recognition.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or IT
- CA / CPA qualified
- Proactive ability to partner with stakeholders across the business
- Experience working in a product based business with Inventory experience
- Experience working across ERP implementation
- Strong research & analytical skills
- Curious and Proactive nature
