The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensure operational areas understand and correctly interpret financial data, business reports and variance analysis.
- Partner with business units to deliver budgets and forecasts that align with Ampcontrol strategic direction.
- Provide analysis of trends, costs, profitability, and other information as requested.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of revenue, period costs, cashflow and balance sheets against budget and forecast.
- Complete balance sheet and payroll reconciliations and investigate variances, balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist operational leaders to maximise ROFE through reporting and analysis, including P&L, balance sheet, cashflow and capital / project expenditure.
- Prepare full financial statements of the business unit.
- Contribute to presentations of budgets and financial statements to business leaders.
What are we looking for from you?
- Degree (or higher) level qualification in Accounting.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
- Experience working within in an engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industry environment (desirable).
- Team player with a keen focus on culture and organisational relationships.
- Ability to concisely communication financial information to others including non-financial business leaders.
- Proactive approach to problem solving with the initiative to identify, recommend and implement corrective actions or improvements.
- Advanced Excel modelling and Microsoft Office products.
- ERP experience (MS Dynamics, SAP, TM1, Syteline or other) and an understanding of market BI and CPM products.
