The Responsibilities:
- Month-end Commercial Accounting activities.
- Prepare balance sheet reviews and commentary.
- Provide technical accounting support for new business initiatives and monitor the financial control framework.
- Drive process improvements and partner across departmental lines to effect change to the control process.
- Central co-ordination for the consolidation of certain notes to the accounts
The Requirements:
- Tertiary degree in accounting or similar, CA/CPA qualified
- 4+ years Financial Services experience at a minimum
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn with keen attention to detail.
- Commercial Accounting experience required (month-end accounting practices – reconciliations, journals, balance sheet reviews, intra-group reporting, eliminations)
