Your new role The corporate team in Townsville is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to guide and support their finance team. This Finance Manager will aid the Chief Financial Officer in financial management, providing comprehensive, timely, and accurate accounting and financial support.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with staff at all levels and work effectively within a team
Proven high-level organisational, administrative, and project management skills, including the capacity to prioritise tasks amidst competing demands and meet deadlines
Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative in applying work processes and procedures, and setting objectives and outcomes
Proficiency in preparing end-of-month financials for management
Advanced experience and competence in using MYOB and the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Understanding of job costing processes
Experience in process improvement and ability to analyse information
Comprehensive understanding of the operation of the SCHADS/AGED/NURSE awards
What you'll need to succeed In terms of your skills and experience, you should hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field. It's important that you are either already qualified as a CPA or CA, or are currently working towards this qualification. You should have at least 5 years of experience in an accounting or analytical role. Any experience in team management or leadership will be highly regarded.
