Sanctuary Lakes Resort is a unique, picturesque resort style residence based estate in Point Cook, Victoria. The Resort boasts an unparalleled selection of over 2,900 lots and a population of approximately 10,000 residents. Each lot is part of an owners corporation. Sanctuary Lakes Resort Services Ltd manages the owners corporations and the resort facilities that are offered to its residents.
The Role
The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the supportive and fun Sanctuary Lakes Resort Services team. You will be working with a small team, reporting directly to the CEO. Your responsibilities include:
- Managing the financial affairs and reporting requirements for Sanctuary Lakes Resort Services Ltd and its subsidiaries.
- Delivering accurate and informative management reports for Sanctuary Lakes Resort Services Ltd and its subsidiaries.
- Liaising with relevant managers to deliver accurate and informative financial accounts for Sanctuary Lakes Resort Services Ltd Owners Corporations.
- Manage the insurance requirements of SLRS and its subsidiaries.
- Management of all applicable taxation and statutory requirements including liaising with external auditors.
- Liaise with relevant managers on VCAT debt collection issues.
- Provide informative management reports to all relevant managers.
- Oversee the annual budget process and forecasts.
- Oversee the processing and control of the payroll function for SLRS and its subsidiaries.
- Lead and foster the development of a small team.
Key Requirements
- Tertiary and CA/CPA qualified.
- Commercially minded and enjoy the responsibility of an end to end accounting role.
- Experience with MYOB.
- Experience managing a payroll function and/or processing Payroll.
- Prior experience in a similar role managing a team.

- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- The ability to effectively manage a team.
- Exceptional report writing skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
