SalaryAn opportunity has opened for a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in a party dedicated to enriching regional communities.
Reporting to the State Manager the role will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management and administration for the organisation.
The successful candidate will be a multi-tasker with strong attention to detail who can juggle different tasks at any given time. You will join a close-knit team who prides themselves on their collaborative approach and really values internal relationships.
Duties include:
- Produce daily bank report.
- Payroll and all statutory requirements, payroll tax, PAYG, super, Business Activity statements.
- Manage Party's insurance requirements.
- Produce employee contracts.
- Authorize all payment transactions and manage company bank accounts.
- Manage investments.
- Produce Finance reports and Treasurers report for Finance, Risk, Audit, Compliance Committee, Central Executive and Central Council meetings.
- All end of financial year requirements.
- Produce and coordinate annual audit.
- Minute Finance, Risk, Audit & Compliance meetings.
- Maintain accounting records of all entities.
- Reconciliation of annual accounts and production of reports to meet the requirements of the NSW Electoral Commission and Australian Electoral Commission.
- Produce and maintain annual administrative budget.
- Maintain campaign budgets ensuring legal cap requirements are not breached.
- Administrative and campaign expenditure claims.
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist Deputy State Director and NSW State Director as required.
- Other Accounting and Administrative support services as required.
- Assist in other positions when required.
- CPA or relevant finance degree
- Experience in a NFP or Government
- Self-starter with exceptional communication skills
- Experience in MYOB beneficial
