Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per annum (plus superannuation)

The Role:

As the Finance Manager, you will lead the financial operations of the club, ensuring financial health and compliance. You will be responsible for budget management, financial analysis, payroll, reporting, and ensuring all financial activities support the club’s strategic goals. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Finance Manager will lead the administration team of the club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial systems and control processes.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Collaborate with senior management to optimise financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in financial software and Excel.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Gaming experience would be an advantage.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving results.
• Relevant qualifications / certifications (eg: CPA, CMA) preferred.
