We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Team.
About the role
As a Finance Officer you will be working closely with the Finance Manager, assisting with the preparation of the company’s key financial deliverables. The role will experience a diverse range of bookkeeping and finance admin tasks and will need to remain flexible and versatile in their approach. As a Finance Officer you will be required to show initiative and demonstrate ability to learn and perform new skills as required by the practice.
Your main duties will include varied bookkeeping and finance admin tasks, such as but not limited to:
- Accounts payable process including entry, review and reconciliation, authorization management and payments
- Follow up of accounts receivable and reporting on payment collection
- Bank Reconciliations and preparation of month end reconciliation processes
- Preparation of fortnightly payroll for 60 people
- Preparation of BAS, Payroll Tax, Superannuation payments
- Maintenance of fixed asset and lease registers
- Consistently complete allocated tasks to a high standard and within agreed timeframes
- Actively participate in identifying, recommending, developing and implementing process improvements
