About the Role
Assistance in all transactional & financial accounting and corporate reporting of the Australia regional office including ensuring compliance with company, statutory and fiscal requirements, and timetables for Australasia entities of Hilton.
What will I be doing?
Processes & Transactional Accounting:
·Accounts Payable (Third Party Suppliers)
·Team Member Business Expense Reimbursement
·Accounts Receivable (including local and international billing)
·Vendor management and payments
·Customer management and receipts
Reporting:
·Month End Reporting (Close process - AP / AR / GL accounts, Supporting Schedules)
·Monthly / Quarterly / Annual Group Reporting requirements
·Provide transactional information to support business analysis and decision making
·Prepare necessary balance sheet reconciliations, supporting documents and follow ups.
Assistance in Statutory Filings and Compliances:
·Assistance in handling Statutory Audit.
·Preparation of data for filing of tax returns for Hilton Entities (Business Tax, Corp Income Tax,
·Withholding Tax, GST, Transfer Pricing etc.)
·Compliance with Sarbanes Oxhley and Hilton Policies & Procedures
In addition, this position may be required to perform a combination of supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company.
Skills and Qualifications
To successfully fulfil this position, you will require the following skills and qualifications:
·Candidate with strong accounting background having at least 2-3 years' experience.
·Candidates in the same/similar profiles will be given preference.
·Experience working in multi-cultural or international settings.
Preferred Qualifications
·Hospitality industry experience preferred.
