An exciting opportunity has become available for a Finance Officer AR Assistant to join our team based at our Gold Coast Office. This position is responsible to assist with the smooth running of the finance function of Groups accounts, and to provide support to Groups Director and training, providing guidance to Groups Team Members.
Getting to know the Assistant role and your responsibilities:
Assist with Checking incoming banking daily- Standardise process – assist with set SOP’s
- Assist with Policing of back office accounting activities – providing support and assistance where required
- Assist with Monitoring deposit payments and daily application in Ivvy – support team to apply correctly
- Run upcoming booking report, and No Zero Balance reports notifying team of follow up requirements
- Assist with Maintaining Daily Group Tracker - change to confirmed once deposit received/contract signed
- Assist with Monitoring new payment terms for all contracted groups
- Running reports in both systems
- Assist with providing face to face training to the Group Team
- Assist Review AR report
- Assist and support with invoicing
- Assist and support with sporting/sponsorship agreements groups invoicing
- Work with and maintain constructive relationships with your Manager, Groups and Property teams
To be successful in this role you will need:
Minimum of 2 years commercial Accounts Receivable experience preferred.- Knowledge of Sihot would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience being proactive essential, along with the ability to build relationships
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong desire to learn
