The candidate rate is Level 4- $51 hour per hour. The assignment will be 3 months and we are looking for an immediate start. We are looking for someone local in Port Hedland for this position as we aren’t able to provide flights or accommodation.Location:            Town of Port Hedland, WARole Purpose: To provide financial administrative services, specifically the accurate processing all Accounts Payable processes ensuring compliance with Town policies and procedures. Key accountabilities:Process all Accounts Payable payments and process all invoices/credit notes in an accurate and timely manner.Ensure all authorizations are in accordance with the financial delegation of Officers and are compliant with relevant legislation.Research and resolve any outstanding balances on creditor statements and investigate to resolve the issue in a timely manner.Monitor staff utility expenses and reconcile when required.Issue requisitions/purchase orders in order to allocate staff utility entitlement for FBT year.Credit Card compilation and processing each month.Maintain all creditor master file data in accordance with Town policies and procedures.Maintain Accounts payable process documentation including creditor forms to ensure relevance and ease of use.Assist in the preparation of month end reports, as well as the end of year process and annual reporting as required.Maintain a…
