Role & Responsibilities
Working alongside a close-knit and down-to-earth Finance & Accounting team. You’ll be reporting directly to the Business Leader of Finance & Governance.
You’ll be responsible for full function accounts payable and receivable function and assisting with reconciliations, such as:
- Manage the end to end accounts payable function
- Manager the end to end accounts receivable function
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing bank receipts
- Journal posting
- Assist with preparation of accruals & prepayments
- Assist with preparation of month-end
- Assisting with financial reporting
- Provide ad hoc general finance / accounting assistance across the wider team
Skills | Experience | Qualifications
We are looking for a loyal, hard-working individual whose personality will slot into the dynamics of our Finance Team. An immediate start is desirable. You will also possess the following:
- 2 + years experience in a similar role as a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper
- Have a solid understanding of accounting principles
- Intermediate experience with MS Word and MS Excel
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
