About the Role 
This role has the opportunity to work remotely as well as in our Melbourne Head Office. AllianceCorp is looking for a person who is a fast learner, a multi-tasker, good with computers and loves to learn. As a Finance Officer / Finance Coordinator, your responsibilities include: 

Accounts Payable

• Reconcile bank feeds
• Review bills and upload them into Xero
• Prepare weekly payment summaries, seek approvals and process payments

Account Receivable

• Reconcile bank feeds
• Prepare receivables reports
• Prepare invoices for clients and stakeholders

Payroll

• Setup new employees in Xero
• Ensure all leave requests are input into Xero
• Process fortnightly payroll
• Assist with the calculations of staff commissions for monthly commission payments

Reporting

• Generate Monthly Reports on cost centres within the business

Projects

• With direction from the Finance Manager assist with projects related to preparing audits of accounts and cleaning up data in the CRM or Xero.

About You 

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and, above all, a strong positive attitude towards their work allowing them to work effectively in a small team. You will also possess:

• Qualifications in Accounting, Bookkeeping or Cert IV in Finance. 
• A minimum of 3+ year’s experience in a similar role. (Preferred but not essential)
• Great attention to detail. 
• A self-motivated and hold a strong, high-achieving work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Have some payroll experience. 
• High Organisational and Problem-Solving Skills.
