McArthur is currently seeking a Finance Officer, providing temporary support to a local client in Bacchus Marsh. This is a two-month opportunity, with potential to be extended and has flexibility for either part-time hours, or full-time hours.
Reporting to the Coordinator Financial Services, you will provide high level support across a variety of financial duties involving reconciliations of balance sheets and accounts payable functions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a listing of financial delegations and ensure they are relevant, valid and properly approved, and accessible on the Intranet.
- Perform assigned balance sheet reconciliations at required frequency (monthly, quarterly, or year-end).
- Maintain the Trust ledger including trust module allocations, reconciliations, and refunds.
- Process BAS transactions.
- Maintain Unclaimed Monies.
- Allocate direct debits to expense general ledger accounts as transactions appear on bank statements.
- Process Stationary Orders
- Provide Back-up support for Accounts Payable Officer as required.
- Reconciliation of banking for various Facilities.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Prior experience with FinanceOne.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial management practices.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- An ability to interpret legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
