Finance Team Leader

As the Finance Team Leader at Omnii, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising financial operations to ensure the financial health and success of the organisation. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Head of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, debtor management, Team Leadership, and stakeholder communication within the finance department.

• Manage and optimise financial operations including invoice issuance, reporting, and debtor management functions.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes and drive business growth.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements & reports to assess financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Lead debtor management efforts to ensure healthy cash flow, minimise bad debt losses, and improve debtor days.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Finance Officer, ensuring high performance and professionalism in financial operations.
• Communicate financial performance and insights to internal stakeholders,
  Education/Training Requirements

Certificate 4 or above in Financial Services/Accounting related field.
External advanced Excel use training certificates or equivalent evidence of proficiency.

• Embrace the use of technology for financial reporting and tracking (e.g., Monday.com, Power BI, AI).
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and knowledge of Power BI.
• Knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience in financial management software ie. MYOB.
• Minimum of 3 year's experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to strict deadlines.
