About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our financial services team. You will be responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyse financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures are used.
Your duties will also include;
- Prepare PHS group financial management reports, including annual and monthly Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow reports and associated reconciliations.
- Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with the accepted policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and the integrity of financial data.
- Assist with the annual budget process for PHS group businesses, including capital budgeting and reporting.
- Assist with the annual audit process.
- Assist the Group Accounting Manager, CFO and other Finance team members where required.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Accounting.
- Postgraduate qualifications such as CA or CPA or working towards.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) is required for this position.
